Post-Doc Position – MURR

The University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) – needs you to help guide its future. MURR is expanding its critical cancer-fighting and medical isotope production.
This postdoctoral position, which is available for immediate filling, will be for a one-year term, renewable for a second year based upon performance, funding, and a mutual desire to continue the appointment. Essential duties will include the design and execution of independent research focused on inorganic radiochemistry, which may include:
1) the design of new radiometal chelation systems,
2) radiosynthesis and evaluation of molecular probes as radiopharmaceuticals, and/or
3) method development for medical radionuclide production.

Eckert & Ziegler Analytics seeks a Radiochemist I or II who will manufacture radioactive calibration standards, check sources and proficiency testing samples. This position plans, organizes and produces quarterly Performance Testing Samples, evaluates data, performs troubleshooting, and provides support to EZA’s traceability program.
